Bristol Omnibus ran a completely separate fleet from 1937 to those of the Gloucester City joint services. The vehicles were separately numbered to enable separate auditing of the revenue (based on mileage) to pay the silent partners - Gloucester City Council - its rake of the profits.
The fleet at variously times included Leyland TD1 Titans, wooden-framed G and K types, but had settled down to K, KS and KSWs by the Sixties.
Eventually the vehicles were renumbered into the main body of the fleet, but could still be identified by the G prefix.
Those vehicles are included in the main fleet sections.
